– What are you thinking? (It may not be an actual thought but flashes of memory tape playing)
– What are you feeling in response to that? Name those emotions.
– Now what do you notice is going on physically, in your body?
– And what other stuff are you dealing with in your everyday life that’s either helping you cope or making it worse?
This exercise gives you back your power to own what is going inside you.
